Mardi Gras isn�t just for New Orleans anymore! Springfield is holding their very own celebration on March 1 with their fourth installment of Mardi Gras on C-Street. Running from 7 p.m. - 1 a.m., the festive event urges all those 21 and older to come out, join in on a variety of carnival-themed activities and let the spirit of Mardi Gras take over � costumes encouraged! This year�s event goers will be able to enjoy an endless amount of activities at six different venues, including face painting, fortune telling, burlesque shows and masked vendors. The signature �Bead Run� will also be returning and held from 7 p.m. - 8 p.m., allowing attendees to receive early-bird drink specials and collect beads as they make their way to each participating venue.
